Lifecycle of a Natural Gas Trade

Below is the Licfecycle of a trade in natural gas trading. The lifecycle of a trade in crude oil is similar. It differs somewhat in high frequency trading or bond trading etc. 

 

The trade is made in the front office with Traders. The desired quantities are then sent to the respective point on the pipeline. Middle office and risk track trade and profit and loss and then the trade flows to settlements to be paid.
